Supported Networks and Asset Types
2.4 Supported Networks and Asset Types
The Klara ecosystem is designed to be multi chain from the ground up. The idea is simple. Your assets should work no matter where they live. Crypto users are spread across different networks with different preferences, speeds, fees, and token ecosystems. So Klara is built to meet users where they already are, not force everyone into a single chain.
This section breaks down all supported networks, planned integrations, and the asset types that will work inside the Klara Vault.
A. Supported Networks
Klara supports multiple networks across the crypto landscape. Some networks are supported from launch. Others are in development. More will be added as the ecosystem expands.
Networks available at launch
1. Ethereum Mainnet
The most battle tested chain with the highest liquidity.
Used for blue chip assets like ETH, stables, and major tokens.
2. Base
Fast, low fee, and perfect for users who want cheap transactions without sacrificing security.
Ideal for onboarding stablecoins and interacting with the Klara vault smoothly.
3. Arbitrum
Popular for low fees and high speed.
A great network for users who already operate in the L2 ecosystem.
4. Solana
High performance chain for extremely fast, cheap transactions.
Supports users who trade or hold SOL or Solana-based stables.
These four chains cover the majority of active crypto users right now.
Networks currently in development
These networks are being integrated and tested to make sure valuation, settlement, and vault logic work properly.
1. Polygon PoS
Large user base, very low fees, and huge stablecoin adoption.
2. Avalanche C-Chain
Fast finality, low fees, and strong support for DeFi assets.
3. Optimism
Similar to Arbitrum but built around the OP Stack ecosystem.
Great for expanding Klara into more L2 environments.
Networks planned for future expansion
These networks will be added after the next major update depending on demand, liquidity, and wallet adoption.
1. zkSync
Zero knowledge tech with fast growth.
2. Scroll
EVM compatible with strong dev support.
3. Cosmos-based chains
IBC aware chains like Cosmos Hub, Kujira, and Noble.
4. TON
Growing rapidly and potentially useful for mobile users.
Klara’s multi chain module is designed to expand smoothly. Once the architecture supports a new network, users will simply see it appear as an option in the deposit menu.
B. Supported Asset Types
Klara does not try to support every token under the sun.
Instead, it focuses on assets that are liquid, reliable, and easy to value. Collateral must be stable, easy to price, and safe for long term credit generation.
Below are the supported asset types, categorized by launch, in development, and future plans.
Assets available at launch
1. Stablecoins (highest priority)
• USDC
• USDT
• DAI
Stablecoins are the safest collateral type for credit generation.
They keep collateral health predictable and help prevent accidental liquidation during volatility.
2. Major Layer 1 assets
• ETH
• SOL
These assets have proven liquidity and consistent market demand.
3. Bluechip governance tokens with stable liquidity
• ARB
• OP
• MATIC (in launch window if Polygon support is ready)
Assets currently in development
These assets require deeper price feed integration and more volatility management.
1. BTC (wrapped or bridged versions)
• WBTC on Ethereum
• WBTC on Arbitrum
• Solana based BTC options (subject to liquidity)
2. Additional stablecoins
• FRAX
• USDD
• EUROC
3. High liquidity DeFi tokens
• LINK
• AAVE
• UNI
These need special risk configuration because their volatility is higher than stablecoins.
Assets planned for future integration
These will be added depending on liquidity, stability, and community demand.
1. Liquid staking tokens
• stETH
• mSOL
• cbETH
2. Cross chain yield tokens
LSTs earn yield, so the vault logic must handle rewards safely.
3. Derivative assets (carefully)
• sUSD
• jEUR
• RWA tokens (once stable and regulated options exist)
Future support depends heavily on oracle availability and volatility modeling.
C. Rules for asset support
For any asset to become part of the Klara ecosystem, it must meet the following internal criteria:
• strong liquidity across major exchanges
• reliable price feeds from trusted oracles
• predictable volatility ranges
• stable community demand
• no history of extreme depegging or manipulation
• compatibility with supported networks
• safe contract standards
These rules help keep the vault safe and prevent unexpected credit issues.
Klara’s multi chain and asset support is built to give users freedom. Your collateral can live almost anywhere, and the system will still treat it like proper financial value that you can use in real life.
Supported now: stablecoins, ETH, SOL, ARB, OP
In development: BTC, LSTs, Polygon, Avalanche
Coming soon: zkSync, Scroll, Cosmos, TON, and more
The goal is to make collateral flexible without sacrificing safety or transparency.
